Is it possible to swap the whole 3rd from a 94 pathy into an 01 R50? I have a buddy that wants LSD, and if it works I want his open diff for a locker. Will any of this work?

I thought I had 31 spline axles
 Maybe you meant it the other way around, that he does in fact have a 33 spline carrier, and the swap still won't work. Is that the case? It Never Ends...
