Ive got a 90 hardbody 4x4 with the c200 rear and by suggestions on this board it would seem I have a used-up lsd. I can't make out any writing but there is an orange(ish) looking rectangular sticker right next to the fill plug. So I think it has a limited-slip but when jacked up only one tire will spin. I've only had this truck for a little over a year but I dont remember the rear breaking loose as much as it seems to now. Anyways if I really do have one is there anyway that you can rebuild them? I have been searching and calling everywhere and I cant seem to find anything on rebuilding them.

I've read somewhere in these forums about rebuiding the LSD- even a mod that puts in more clutch discs so that it really locks well- even to the point of scuffing the tires a bit around corners.
SEarch a bit and you'll find it.
Maybe it was in the Xterra forums where I read it, but it should have some application across the board, I would think.
Maybe this applies

so nobodys actually seen a c200 lsd in the wild? I'm going to have to take it apart now. cuz like I said there is an orange sticker to the right and above the fill plug but its so old I cant make out any writing. Was there another sticker they put on these axles like "non-lsd fluid only"?

The C200 LSD has been used on some of the later D22 Frontier models, but they're the 31-spline version.
