Alright so my engine blew in my hardbody so i purchased another parts hardbody that is a USA unit just for the engine. Turns out the USA truck is way better condition than my CAN unit.. Except the clutch... THe clutch goes right to the floor with no action what so ever.. i traced the line and turns out the plunger is right out of the slave cylindar. I was going to replace that but once i got deeper i notcied that the release lever that attaches to the release bearing inside the tranny is loose and flopping all over.. Seems like it let go inside the tranny. What can i do to rectify this? Anything i can do at home? Unfortuantly i dont have a garage so its time sensitive as winter is quickly approaching in canada.. any help would be awesome..
The lever may have just slipped out of the retaining clip inside the tranny. You can pull the rubber boot out of the side of the tranny and look in with a flashlight to inspect it further.
If there is something physically damaged, unfortunately, you'll have to pull the trans out to replace the parts.

What if the clip has just came off.. how would i be able to connect it back in without taking out the tranny? would it just snap back in or would i have to extract the clip and reinstall it?
If the throwout bearing is oriented correctly, you should just be able to snap it back in. You'll need to go investigate closer though to see exactly what the problem is.
