Same thing with me, i keep toasting the driverside inner boot. The passenger side is the factory but for some reason the driver side just wont keep up. Im thinking of making some type of CV boot on my own.

Get the SLR diff drop kit and see if that helps slow down the failures. I have only ever replaced out outer boot and just recently a CV but it's demise had nothing to do with wear...
