Any trails within a short distance from Rockford(Northern IL). Or any Nissan wheelers in the general area?

Alright I found a bunch of Illinois trails. Is there something less hard core? I'm only 18 without much money and don't want to have to tow my truck home. I have a V6 se HB with a 3 superlift and custom rear leaf packs. I have the stock lego wheels with 31's. So my trucks basicly stock. Is there any training courses in our area? As of right now I have no reason to upgrade my truck. People at school laugh at me because I don't support ellegal four wheeling activitys. Thus I have never been offroad in my truck. I once went four wheeling with my dad up in Colorado in his F 150 it was a blast. I love the hobby and love to see your trucks and pathys in action. I just wish I could do the same.

Heres a link

Well, there's a place just about 100 miles from you. It's not quite open yet, but it will be soon. Here's a Mapquest link to the place, or nearly so anyway: Clicky click.
No idea what the trails are like yet, but supposed to be for all vehicles. When it does open, anytime youy want to go wheelin', let me know! I'm ALWAYS up for a wheelin' trip!!

Also, it's a little further, but theres a place about 250 miles south of you. Rockport Offroad Park. RORP. They also have all kinds of trails there, from mild to wild! Now, ILFWDA is going to have a convention there June 12 and 13. I'll get you in, even if you are not yet a member of ILFWDA. I gots connections...I'm the Vice President and Membership Director....hehehe Let me know if you want to go!!

Ok well I can't make the Rockport one because I'm graduating from high school that day.

Any clue when the other one will open? I might go some time in July or something after school gets out. I'll let you know a month in advance.

Do you think we could hook up with some more guys on the AC board and hit the Mystery trail once it opens?
I think there's like 5 guys from Chicago.
