There's no auto shop on base that'll rent out space to work on your ride?

It's not that hard with some good hand tools. Go here for a suspension lift how-to. The only specialized tool you need is a pickle fork - you can get one at any parts store for a few bucks. Otherwise a few metric wrenches and sockets is all you need.

fulloutpwr, I used to be stationed there...that auto hobby shop isn't that great, but they should have everything you need. I put the 3" body lift on my Pathfinder in that autohobby shop. The a-arm lift is way easier than the body lift...you should be able to do it yourself, and the folks that work there should be able to give you advice if you get stumped on anything. You could even call me for advice at DSN 368-2928 or 368-5536, if you install them during a weekday. If you haven't purchased the yet, IMHO...the Calmini A-arms appear to be the beefiest on the market for your Frontier.
