Yeah, Mikey. He's made it to 2 AZ runs. You live here and you've only been on one.

Excuse me?!?! I've been on two AZ runs! I was on the first, AND the second. The only one I haven't made it to is was the third... Don't you guys remember? AZ I, full bodied rig with custom bumpers that break. AZ II, doors off, 32's on yellow wheels. I'll be out there this weekend, and whenever you wanna wheel on a Sunday after that. Maybe even on a Friday.

And besides, it's all Karma. Duerk, and DR, when you guys plan on doing your swaps, be ready for some down time, and forkin' over some $, cuz that's how it works. Mine was down forever, now it's back up, and GTG. You'll be where I was. Guarenteed. And we'll see just WHO can follow who. I know there's no way you guys can follow me... I mean, who can drive on rocks covered in tranny fluid?

We're starting ours right after the run. We know it'll be down - but, we've done so much work ahead of time that when we finally take it down, it shouldn't have to be down more than 2-3 months tops.

lol I know it takes time and you obviosly know that better than anyone, which is why it was ironic. I'm sure you were just giving him a little crap and so I was giving it to you.

I can tell you one thing, it will be a long time before I do a swap. In fact in reality I'll be lucky to keep the pathy for another year(I'm trying hard to keep it but neven know what will come up). I have other priorities in my life right now. Having children is ex$pensive and instead of modding my truck, I mod my new home lol... paint$, land$caping etc...

Andy's shouldn't be down for too long because he's got the money to get everything quick. I ran out of funds.

Duerk, I have thought about modding out the house, but I've decided the rig comes first... Razz

Mine'll probably be down for at LEAST a few months.. I can probably have the axle under it in a few weekends, but gearing, steering, and all that will take a while. Smile

lol.. well, I doubt I'll be trying to tackle insane trails.. I'm just tired of burninatin' through tires, steering, and suspension parts. I have to regear the rear during the swap, so I'll probably use that opportunity to put in an ARB back there as well.

I think my credit card will be hurtin for a little while once this project gets underway. lol

Hey John, you should swap in a Toyota widetrack rear. It fits perfect... Smile Plus it would be WAY cheaper than regearing and ARBing your axle...

I'd still need to regear and lock it to match the 5.14s for the front though.. and after doing a rear swap (axle + steel + link ends + gears + locker), I bet the price would come out about the same as just the gears + locker for my axle..

Also, if axles and ring gears are like other toyota axles, I doubt the widetrack toyota is as strong as the H233b.

I can't say I've ever heard of too many people breaking a rear R&P in a Toyota axle, and I've only heard of about 4 people breaking rear axles. From what I gather, you'll never be doing the kinds of things they were doing when they broke... (4k clutch dumps in double low with a V8...)
