I know Im only gonna make 2 days of the run, but all this mod madness has got me going. I have ordered a lockright and t-case gears. Gears wont go in untill April but id like to get the LR in....It should be here thurday. Anyone got some time and the desire to help with an install? I dont believe it should take all that long and I be down for helping out on "anything" in return.

I've never installed one (?) I know you'll need to pull the axles, so have some brake fluid on hand - you'll be disconnecting brake lines and will have to bleed them when you put everything back together.

I have to ask why you need to disconnect the brake lines to pull the axles, unless theres something incredibly different about a nissan rear axle from a chevy or ford.

You unbolt the backing plate from the axle flange and you have to pull the axles out about 2-3" to be able to drop the 3rd memeber. The axle has hard brake lines with no extra slack.

You don't have to disconnect the brake line. But you do have to remove everything from each side... I can help you Sunday as a last minute option.

I need DOT 3 brake fluid right? Diff oil, locktight and Permatex. Anything else.

Very easy stuff, you and Andy should have no problems. I helped a friend put a Aussie in his front D44 last week and it took 2-2 1/2 hours top and that was really taking our time.(Only 2nd one I have done, first for him.)

It all arrived today. Kinda small for all that money.
 but oh well. Not much in the lockright box.
