 which is going to really suck on a 1000mile drive. I have done 1500 straight through but I wanted to take it easy out to AZ.  |

I would at least burn a ton of mp3s to CD for the trip. Pick up coffee in the morning and stock a reachable cooler full of caffineated beverages. That'll keep you going. I drank 4 powerades and stopped 4 times total. I could have driven through if the gas tank would have been a little bigger...
