Hi,

Sorry, haven't been keeping up on this as much as I probably should.

Was wondering if there were any plans/interest to do some "sight seeing" runs prior/following the main event?

Anyone up for some Sedona (cliche, I know, but great scenery) or some mine site runs (like Constellation or Copperopolis)?

Wasn't sure when people were travelling/arriving on the weekend(s), so thought I'd ask.

Best regards,

-matt

The friday run is a scenic one doable by everyone. You could meet us at the trailhead about 10 miles east of Superior.

Matt - are you only doing Wednesday because of work? We're planning on playing in the coves the last day of the run. I'm thinking most people will be heading home that day. As for when they're arriving - some are arriving saturday and the rest sunday - but after driving 500+ miles they may want to relax until monday - not sure.

Post up guys -

We were thinking of doing a pre-run party like thing on Sunday - but nothing in stone yet.

I'll always live for the nights I can't remember and the friends I'll never forget!

Hi,

One day is all I can scrounge that week, and I'd like to check out Coke Ovens, so Wednesday is it for me. Unfortunately, I can't make the 20th either (argh!). That's why I was just curious if anything was going on the weekend before.

No biggie, though, there's plenty of other weekends to get out.

So, when the pre-run thoughts are finalized, will they then be CARVED in Stone??

Smile

Probably just a whole lot of preparations....I might be up for something Saturday, but we gotta figure out who is staying where (sounds like John will be putting up a bunch of peeps), and when they get here. Watch the SWANKy forum over the next couple weeks.

As far as lodging goes, I was letting DL tell me who was staying at my house.

OK, here's what I'm thinking so far (subject to change)

Rondo & wife - Marshall's
Will - my place
FrontCC & 2 passengers, System-F - with John
Brian and Joel - my place
Phil - Marshall's?
Robin - John's?

Who else is coming from out of state?

The trail on the 18th is gnarly. The whole trail is kinda like that wash we did out by Sibley Mansion the first time you wheeled with us. Gonna be fun tho! You got sliders yet, Matt?
