If it gets cold enough Tuesday, we'll be doing some major snow wheeling up on Sunflower Mine loop.. we will hit over 6,000ft elevation on that one.

This is going to be one KICK ASS run!!! Think Sun, Snow, Rain, Mud, flooded washes, deepwater crossings, quicksand, and some gorgeous sunsets!

Duerk.. it only makes it more fun and memorable. Its like the Ike's Backbone trip.. that was one of the best camping trips i've ever done even though I hated all the mud at the time. Sleeping in a tent in a torrential downpour is FUN! Big Grin

Trust me I'll be there. No worry there.

I have camped in the rain a few too many times though and it is not my favorite. Though I am sure we will have a blast, I'll ienjoy it more if I am dry.

If it is going to be this wet, maybe everyone should pick up some fire wood?

Might not be a bad idea.. So we can have a bonfire in the rain. I'll try to pick up a bundle of wood.

Maybe we should make a thread telling everyone to grab a bundle. I am sure they will all enjoy it.

I was camping up in TN a few years ago. During the night it started to rain...more like dump. It was a like a dam burst right above us.

So I'm asleep and I wake up because I feel like I'm moving...cause I was moving. I was being carried down through the meadow where the campsite was. I've nailed my tent down real good since then...

Nah, see, thats why you have an air mattress. No matter how much water gets in the tent, you still float on top of the water. Pretty comfortably too, I might add. Wink
