Anyone have any secret modifications they are making right before the run?

I have a few that are going to be new... hehe A new radiator for one, then there are gonna be about 5 more that will be left up to the imagination. hehe

Yah, i saw it drop below 20 and suddenly realized I better get my butt in gear to get the truck ready. I think it is ready to go for the most part. Just gotta change oil, air filter, check the rest of the fluids and start getting my trail gear sorted and packed.

Also, I'm gonna throw in some BIG lift springs in the rear to get a little more altitude out back. My truck, for all practical purposes is sitting at stock ride height now in the rear because it sagged the 30 year old F100 springs.

Haha, They way I look at it, I have roughly 382 days to get my butt in gear. Either way it goes, I WILL be driving the next AZ Run

I need to make sure I get the trailer taken care of though... I need to get it here basically.

My main issue right now is tracking down my aunt to get me a plane ticket! I've tried two numbers and both were not hers

3" BL (Bought, pending installation)
3" SL (Installed)
Calmini Steering (Installed SWEEEEET)
33" Tires (Bought, pending installation)

and maybe

Locker (pleeeease oh pleeease....) [bought, pending delivery]

My secret mods are ....

well my secret double probation mods are more like necessities:
calmini steering
sliders
regular maintenence

I'll hint at mine...

Some tube work will change, no more radials, and maybe a new method of transmitting power...

remember to move the drivers seat forward so you can reach the shifter and ignition buttons when you're strapped in =)

I can reach the shifter if I only have the lap belt on. I don't know if the 4 points are gonna stay on for the run. Probably will, but they'll be tied up so they don't rattle.

The new tires are 38x15.50x15 Super Swamper Trxus STS radials. I thought they were Bias cuz they are a swamper, but I was wrong. I'll have them mounted Saturday night.

Are they any good? I've seen them on a couple trucks here in about 33" and I wasn't impressed at all.

It doesnt look like that tread would grab & form around rocks very well. Why'd you get rid of the MT/Rs? Those were great tires!
