Day one at the Coves I had some minor left front bumper carnage. The big plastic chunk that goes back to the wheel came loose, no biggie.

My truck is covered in mud so I don't know what else, but the big huge factory Nissan tow hook in the front has been snapped in half. The bolts are still holding it in place but it is gone. I'll bet it's in the mine field in the Sunflower Mine trail.

I got a small dent on the left rear quarter panel. Slid off a rock into a tree. The POS is looking good otherwise.

Also, john had the pleasure of being the first ever to strap the X. My bald A/T's would not bite the mud enough to get me up a hill. Thank you and Jove for getting out in the rain and hail and hooking me up. Chug

A few of us ran Reno Pass back the other direction. Jim bent a tierod center adjuster in a90 degree angle, so we had to fix that in the sleet. The water crossings on the Bushnell tank side were much deeper later in the day and I thought DL was gonna drown the X! She did good tho.

I have a broken tail light from turning around and backing into a bush 11doh

I also noticed a nicely torn inner CV boot that's slinging grease all over under the truck. I'll duct tape it in the morning and that should get me through the rest of the run. Just in case I'll be carrying a spare CV shaft.

Okay, so what else? Did Jim bend ANOTHER EOE tie rod adjuster? Eek Sounds like carnage was kept to a minimum without Mikey... Frown What fun is it without carnage? Big Grin
