It will probably still be a little chilly at night, even without rain. "need" is a relative term... some guys on AZR2 didn't NEED one lol

Those can't be very good sleeping bags for that price. With those, you get what you pay for. Have had good luck with cheap tents tho....as long as it doesn't rain, that is.

Yeah, the sleeping bags are a by-product. I mean $35 for the tent alone is pretty good. The sleeping bags are a bonus...

My plan is, with no rain, to sleep in a tent with PigDog. It's too much of a hassle sharing the back with him. Plus I won't have to take everything out and then put it all back in.

It rains, though and my happy arse is sleeping in the back of the X.

You could always just unzip the sleeping bags and lay them flat for cushion. But yeah, they are only 40 deg bags.

You can do night runs. I'm drinking beer and eating good food.

i have a similar sleeping bag/tent deal someone gave me for christmas. I don't think it was that cheap, but I will test the sleeping bags this Saturday...

Night runs are fun chit, but not on unknown turf in a vehicle that has to get me 1080 miles back home.

We have plenty of fun on the run at night. No tellin' what the weather will be, but I'm hoping for clear and in the high 40's / low 50's at night.

SWANKy Ron could use one of these cheap tents smiley12 smiley24

I sure hope it's warmer than that! Eek I'll bet in March it's high 50's at night... What about during the day? Think we'll hit 80? Smile
