I'm Juuussstttt about there. I need to hook up the new tranny fan I bought. The old Toyota one gave up the ghost. I wasn't willing to troubleshoot. Everything else is done. Oh yeah, I need to buy a long piece of hose to hook up the radiator overflow.

Well, let's see..

I haven't tubed out the body, replaced the tranmission, made new driveshafts, reinforced the frame with crossmembers, grooved my tires, or gotten new tires for that matter, fixed transmission leaks, 'cause I don't have any, messed with the gearing, built a tow trailer, bought a new tow vehicle(s), or put a exo cage on.

So, basically, I have a damn long ways to go.

But, the back seat is gone to make room for tools, gear, amp and sub (it's about priorities, not passengers), and I now have sliders, removed some fender flares and mud flaps for tire clearance, got a new battery, some better lighting, and made a mount for the gas cans....

Yeah, I know, not in the same league. Little daily driver steps, ya' know... But I will say that YOU ARE A BAD INFLUENCE...

On the plus side, I can bring in beer reinforcements on Wednesday...

Well, the buggy is on the trailer, and full of gas. The first ever tow of the buggy is complete. I towed it down the street. Wow. It was interesting. It's almost kinda scary... haha But it went okay. I think my truck weighs a TON. After loading up the trailer and the buggy, my truck is DRRRAAAGGGIINNNNNN AAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS...... haha I guess that's to be expected though... 3500lb buggy, the previous owner of the trailer said that the trailer weighed about 3000 also. I dunno... 6500 is ALOT of weight.

We just wrapped up shop here at Casa del Datz. Some mods happened, a lot of shopping and packing... I'm just waiting on an open bathroom then it's snooze time for me. (I've had 4 hours sleep in the last 2 nights, as well as something like 10 hours of cutting/welding, on top of working). I'm DONE though, basically ready to rock in the morning

I'm pretty much there too.. just gotta finish laundry and gather all the gadgets that are coming along. The truck is ready to go.

The pathy is *heavy*. the cooler alone weighs over 100lb. THe new rear springs are holding it all nicely though!!

that cooler weighs more like 150 pounds.. I don't think I'm even going to bother with my camera.. it takes bad pics, I take bad pics, and the batteries are half dead.

Well, it's just after 5am, and I've yet to pack and shop........

Well, it's 7am, and of course, I forgot to shop. hehe That's okay. I'm gonna stop at the Super Wally world on Stapley on my way out there. If you guys are still around, I'll meet you all at the meeting point, but I'm gonna tow pretty far in (Just in case... )

Hey Mike. If the truck is "draggin ass", you haven't loaded the tongue weight properly... Dumbass. Don't park the buggy so deep on the trailer. The tongue weight is only suppoed to be 500 lbs. If you can't get this to work, you need to back on the trailer or buy a weight distributing hitch. On a half ton truck, tongue weight is KEY and WILL make your tow rig bounce, sway, wag, and lug like crazy.

I mean draggin' ass by it's SLLOOWWWW compared to unloaded. Not that the tongue weight is bad. It still sat pretty level with the buggy on it.
