Woohoo! Glad everyone's having fun. Joel decided he needed new tires when he pulled into town and we were giving him crap about not having any tread on them. Big Grin So, Mikey got him a deal - but there's only 4 left in the valley. Of course, no ones cell has reception out at the coves, so I'm sitting here hoping that they get ahold of me early enough tomorrow to still be able to hold the tires.

Not sure how it happened, but some tree decided to rip Whiteman's windshield wiper off - the whole arm assembly! 11doh They have tons of mud up there. Apparently they've been strapping everyone up some of the hills because the mud is just like goo. Tomorrow's gonna be sooo fun!!

Great for Arizona- Bad for 4 wheeling (and camping)

These guys are my heroes..... I need/want to here their stories. This type of weather, for the yearly scheduled event, will probably never happen again.

I can only imagine... just a couple weeks ago on Reno Pass, it was raining, snowing and very gooey... it has to be awesome up where they are at now. The past couple of days, the snow level was 5000 to 6000 ft.

Here in Tucson, it is very muddy and nasty. I want to be up where they are! Even if it was just a passanger. Damn, work really sucks! Mad Wink

Yeah, I wanted to go out and play a little bit today, but I am afraid that it is too gooey right now... my "one wheel wonder" would definately eat it... hahaha. Although, I am extremely impressed with the 31inch BFGs I put on! They do really well in the wet weather. Wink

Holy crap was today fun! I had a blast even though it rained and hailed on us most of the day. We sat on the top of Reno Pass replacing a tie rod adjuster on the Bumblebee. That was COLD! It was hailing or sleeting or whatever you wanna call it.

Duerk - that deep water pass that we went through to meet the guys at camp - wow! it was up to the molding on my doors! Big Grin And, there was a big tree log in the way so Jim had to move it so the rest of us could cross. I'm sure there'll be a full write up later - most likely at the end of the run. The guys are cold and wet!

You forgot to tell what happened to you and your X this morning!!

Man, what a blast, just got out of the hottest shower ever. Troopers all, we are. It rained the entire Sunflower mine trail yesterday, all last night, and all of today. Everything is wet. But WHAT A BLAST. Arizona like it is rarely seen.

Reno was a blast. Very wet, but yeah safe. Would not have been passable today if the earlier repair wasn't done. The mud at the end was crazy awesome. There was water running in every wash, and down the trail for the most part all day.

BTW John Leland and I went back via the Apache trail.........wait til you see the pics of the waterfalls.
