We can. There are no fire restrictions. Finding wood may be an issue - might buy some and haul it along if you want fires.

I'm glad this was brought up. The first night will probably be the hardest to find wood, since it's closest to the highway.

If everyone can bring a bundle we can stash it before Woodpecker, what we don't use we can take to the Cabins and unload before Martinez Canyon.

But yes fire good. Umm sit by fire. Drink beer. Eat food. Good.

I'll try to pick up a few bundles to bring along as well. WIth these new springs, I think I'll be hardpressed to sag the backend with anything I put in it. I just hope I have enough room with everything else thats getting packed. lol

Marshall himself demonstrating how NOT to transport firewood... The bundles on the roof ended up on the ground, but not without bouncing off the hood first! lol

And let that be a lesson: don't listen to me or the Canadian (especially the Canadian) when we egg you on.

someone needs to capture a half dozen frames from that point in the video and make an animated gif, so everyone can see that big bag of firewood thats not tied down very well prove why you should tie down anything on your roofrack.

As for taking "suggestions" for driving from me, I'm just there to help you push your limits, and the vehicles. I'm HELPING I swear!

Ah but that was one of the lighter moments of AZ Run III, plus it made me famous.

I have tried so hard to remember, and I think I was just starting to unload when you called us up there. I think I had unstrapped some of the stuff up there, but not sure.

It was fun anyway.

We always end up stopping for lunch, and a few times in between as well where you can sneak in the snack. breakfast is a combination of cook something for yourself, and some mornings a bigass group cook of a few dozen eggs and some meat and tortillas. SUpper is whatever the hell you cook, whenever you cook it in camp =).
