Yes, we run the trails as a group. Everyone helps each other out with spotting, wrenching, etc. The campouts are first rate.

It's 6 days in the sticks.

Let me put it this way. There are (at least) 3 of us in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area that are planning to drive more than 2400 miles round trip to make AZ-7... 'cause it's worth it Big Grin

if i get time off of school and my enfine gets rebuilt in time i hope to make it, how bad are the trails though because i'm only runnin a 3" bl, and 33" tires so I don't have huge clearence and the truck is still a 4 banger, besides that there are no major mods, will I be able to make it though most or all of them? It'll go through mud and climb steep azz hills but can it handle the rough desert???? d-d-daan!!! Red Face

Sounds like your truck could get through at least three of the five days posted itinerary and there's a world of options out there for us lightweights that might not want to run the real tough tough stuff. You'll want to invest in some rock sliders (solid steel step rails) if you don't have those. I ran the Sunflower Mine trail planned for day 1 bone stock except for 31" mud tires and sliders back on AZ Run 3 and got through with nothing more than some shiny spots on the undercarriage. But that same trail did leave its mark on the sheetmetal during AZ Run 5. The AZ Run will leave marks on your truck but if you don't overdo it there's always ways to have fun without destroying your ride home. There's also plenty of opportunity to absolutely destroy your rig. Come on out, it could be the vacation experience of a lifetime.
