Go to Pirate4x4.com and look up heat exchanger. The dudes who build them have come up with several methods and if I remember correctly John was going to make one simular. My shower is cheap and easy, it's a stainless steel hudson sprayer from Home Depot. For hot water, just heat it on the stove, or pour hot water in it.

Cool! I wanna see that. That damn bad seller section has f'd up the whole site by welcoming several thousand new members to the board thus overwhelming the server. Mad The heat exchanger idea is really neat, hope you come up with a good one.

I've got a question, an off the wall one. Do you guys allow vehicles outside of Nissan to go on these runs or is it strickly Nissan? I'm wondering because my brother loves to wheel and lives in Phx, but owns a toy. all replies accepted.

All are welcome - we usually have a jeep or two, a yota or two and even sometimes a chevy or two show up. Smile

Well I am in, put in for the whole week off from work. Hoping I get my company bonus before then but I bet it will come in the week after (at least then I will have money to fix what I brake!). For the more difficult trails, I might want to ride along with someone so I can get some good action shots. Looking forward to it.

Its official.. we will have HOT showers & possibly a hot tub on the run!

Anyone wanting to use the trail shower will need to bring a 5 gal water container full of water for each shower they plan on taking..

I had basiclly told myself, "I'm not going this year...I want to go to Moab". But as the time draws closer...I'm getting itchy...and need to scratchy. I think I might talk myself into this one, depends on the job situation... since I don't have one right now, it looks good! But if I get a job that isn't to flexible, well I still want to go to Moab this year.

Have we decided on alterative runs for days one and two. So far I have seen Telegraph Canyon for day 1 or 2, but no clarification on which day. and coke ovens for day 3, and do we have an alterative for day 5 since Charouleau Gap has to have 31" tires minimum. Lift, and armor or are we just going to pull everyone in and spot them in bad spots. GummyBob made this run with 31's, 3in lift, no lockers, and some good driving.

We have one alternative for days 1 and 2. Not sure if I can come up with any other good ones.

Coke Ovens is the alternative for Day 3.

There is no alternative for Charouleau. Everyone gets to do that trail.

Have you guys found trails from Tucson back to Florence/Phx by using washes yet? I may be down on running those, if nothing else.
