Not kidding guys - if you attend the run, every individual or family needs an AZ State Trust Land use permit. Get this done ASAP, as it'll take some time to get it and then get your app in so you can get the permit. Less than 60 days to the run, so don't procrastinate on this!

Contact the state trust land office at (602)364-2753. You'll need to leave a message with your name and address so they can mail you an application. Individual permits are $15, and family ones are $20.

How reliable are they at mailing them out? I left a very clear message with my name address and phone #.

Pretty reliable. If you don't have anything by the end of the week, let me know and I'll go down and get you one myself and mail it out.

If you love something set it free.
If it comes back, it will always be yours.
If it doesn't come back, it was never yours to begin with.

But, if it just sits in your living room, messes up your stuff, eats your food, uses your telephone, takes your money and doesn't appear to realize that you had set it free.....
You either married it or gave birth to it !!

I left a message early last week for mine and haven't gotten it yet either. Do keep me posted - if you don't get your apps, let us know and we'll get them for you.

For everyone else who is registered, please post up on this thread so I know you're in process of getting your permit. It's BIG fines if we run into local law enforcement, and it could harm our run. I know of very few people who have encountered issues, but why chance it.

No clue, but it is a state office, so my guess is that they take much longer than they should.

Don't think you can copy them, as the applications are carboned.....I think you fill them out, send it in, and they send you back the permit, but not sure. Might want to call again and just request two forms.

Hopefully they get off their asses and start sending them out. I'm local. No reason for it to take more than 2 days.

Yeah, but I work weekdays and they close early...and I'm inherently lazy. Plus I wanted to see how well the mail order worked to ensure these out of state guys can get theirs ahead of time.

What kind of time frame should I expect on these to be mailed??

If they don't get here to soon, can I talk somebody there in AZ to grab alot of them and mail them to me for us Cali guys? I can get them to the folks here that are going. I'll pay for shipping and whatever else.

It would suck for us to get shafted on this because they didn't send them out in time.
