Call me again... I noticed it said "Private" and was on the phone with another friend, so I didn't pick up... I'm home BTW.

Oh yeah, they are naturally brilliantly blue... Did they turn you on or something? I get that alot... Usually from chicks, but also from the occasional guy.. Razz I do wear contacts though.

I will have to disagree. Toyota axles are NOT the best. Someone has lied to you my friend. Razz
The H233B is just a good an axle as any Toy axle. Mot to mention the entire line of Dana axles is better than any Toyota axle. Just my 2 cents...

I think Robin and Brian are heading home today. Robin thinks he has enough damage now. Smile I told him to do what he thinks he needs to do - but that he should run today as it's a mild trail with beautiful views - and Ralph will be there today.

I went out to camp last night and got to see the latest carnage.

Another heim joint broke
Motor mount on an X
couple of cool dents on a Frontier
Tweeked Terence slider Big Grin
blown cv boot
driveshaft on pathy (can't remember what happened to it)

I think there was more, but I was only out at camp for about 3 hours and part of that was spent eating the awesome cake Marshall made!

Welcome to the board man. I want to ask you about the comment you made here. What is your experiance with either of these axles? I have a dana 44 in my Nissan and want to know why some say they rock, and some say they suck. I think my d44 is beefy and looks stronger than the Toyota front ends, but don't know for sure.

Ya konw i tried to clean up those booger welds Razz on THe Robin'SLiders, but I was boogerin' it myself w/ the wrong size rod smiley42Dork. . I'm guessing that one side was massaged a bit until it massaged the rockerpanels.

I had my rear Toy axle wedged so hard that I thought that it was bent. I even gave it throttle while it was wedged, and nothing happened. It just loaded up the torque convertor, and wouldn't move. Even in double low, first gear.

I have more ground clearance than a Nissan axle, deeper gears, and plenty of strength for my application. (3000lb buggy)

Since when do they make a H233B front axle? I'd like to see the pics... Razz hehe Plus, the new 300M inner shafts that I'm getting will keep the FODEEZ turnin'... Razz

They make 'em, but not available in the states. I've heard them discussed by some of the P-troll guys, I think the new P-troll will have an h233b front.

ya mikeys axle is pretty beefy....but i really dont think between a built 44 and a built toy axle there will be any significant differences...then again what do i know...i have neither of the axles
