I'm in Phoenix now! Unloading the truck into the new apartment tomorrow, and meeting up with Matt about 2:30 (or so is the plan) on Thursday to head out to camp.

I talked to them briefly last night. They sounded very tired. Many people nearly rolled trucks but that was all they told me.

Yeah, we pretty much almost rolled every truck out there. Individually, of course. Ajax is serious stuff. Dennis and I both took body damage, and the straps were out for most of Upper. About an even split between pulling someone over or back off an obstacle, or tied to the roof with 10 guys pulling sideways to keep the trucks rubber side down. JW blew out a CV shaft, fortunately at the very end of the trail so he was able to winch off the last obstacle and drive it back to camp in 2wd.

Well I well try for Thursday to be sitting at the site when all the truck pull in. I have not given up I will try to make it for Friday.

I will be going back! The Goat is fixed have to get a new u-joint, checker sold me a joint that just turned to shavings. so I will be taking that back in the mourning and should be at camp by 4.

We're meeting there at 2:30PM this Thrusday.... I plan to go South on I-10 to north Tucson as I have to drop off a PC for work, then back track to Tangerine road head over to Oracle and find the camp site.. Not sure if the campsite is north or south of Oracle but we'll figure it out. I would guess we will be rolling in about 5-7PMish.. I've been talking with DL and DR about the campsite it seams very easy to find. Datz - Not sure if you want to travel with us as you live on the South East side of town and we're headed due south. You are right.. It'd be easier for me to just go east and head south from FJ. Unable to get out of work tomorrow, I'd like to possibly drove down in the early afternoon (off work at 11am) to meet and set up for camp. Will you spend friday tooling up Charoleau Gap, and camp 3/4s the way through? Where's fridays campsite to be?
