They're $15 per person or $20 per family. The first two nights of the run, we'll be camping on state trust land. These can be obtained by mail, but you'll need to allow yourself enough time to get this handled.

You can click on the link below and go to the bottom of the page to print the form, or you can PM me your address and I'll mail you the form. These need to be returned to the address on the form with a check for the fee, and they'll send you back the signed version, which you'll need to carry in your vehicle at all times.

It's a small fee. Please ensure you do this if you plan on attending days 1-3. Feel free to post any questions in this thread, and please, keep it on topic.

Couple of questions regarding these....

Does the address on the land use permit have to be an Arizona address?
Do I even need one of these to run days 4,5,6?
Might be easier to just go by the office and get one than doing it by mail considering the short time I'll be in AZ before the run....

Very probably Keith! I'm hoping to get down to PHX on the 14th and get my keys and all that and hopefully get some stuff into the apartment that evening, so I can at least sleep there...then move in completely on the 15th, go out and order some furniture during the day on the 16th and head down to Oracle that afternoon and meet up with everyone at camp - just waiting on the final campsite location.

I may cut my stay in Colorado to 1 night.

Land permits are definitely not needed for days 5 and 6. You can be an out of state resident, that doesn't matter.

Vengeful, since you're moving down here anyways, the permit is good for a year and you'll likely be on AZ trust land at some point....

Oh, I'm definitely going to get one, I was just trying to think whether I should scramble to do so and put my current address on it, which will only be good for another month and a half, or wait until I'm in my apartment and go down to the State Land Dept office and do it then....

The permit is per vehicle. It has to be in the vehicle with you.

I sent away for mine on the 18th, and got the permit today in the mail. There are two parts, the part I sent in signed by the officials, and a hanging card for the mirror.

OK. I see a few of you have done this. We got a lot of attendees and not many responders.

If you are hunting or fishing and have a license to do so you don't have to have a permit.
If you have a hunting license bring a gun. Your get out of jail free card is that your shooting varmints. They don't have a season like deer or elk.

I got my a couple of weeks ago, now all I need is my sliders to come in. I ended up going with Shrock's sliders since I already have their front bumper. I will probably also get AC's 3 pack AAL to replace the one short leaf. Looking forward to this outing.

Bump, guys. I know there's still some of you who need these permits. We're running very low on time. If you don't get them mailed out this week, there's a good chance you won't get one on time.
