Anyone want to have a meeting place to caravan out to FJ? Maybe somewhere close to the I10 -I17 interchange? Flip, Mike, Ralph...

Sure, how about McDonalds on the SW corner of 7th Street and McDowell? Its right off the I-10. Or if you want to meet on the I-17 we can meet at the Jack in the Box on the NE corner of Thomas and I-17. Can you tell I'm hungry? Or there is the QT on the SW corner of Camelback and I-17. This is probably the best place... coffee, soda, ice, gas, etc., etc. Say 7am? You think that is early enough? Gives us 2 hours to get to FJ. Shouldn't be hard since we are going the opposite way of morning rush hour traffic for most of the way.

Sure that sounds fine. Which way do you want to go? If the meeting time is at 9am out by Florence, we need to leave way early. With no traffic, I can usually get there in 45-60 mins taking the 101 to the 60. Monday morning will be rush hour traffic. So the question to ask, is which way do we want to go to get out there? Do we want to take the 101 or the 10? I'm fine with either way, and yes, food does sound good.

I like the idea of meeting at the McDonalds west of 7th Stret on McDowell. That way we can at least be sitting down and munching for a few while waiting for others.

I say 7:00 is a good target time. That way if it takes us 30+ minutes to get everyone together, get food and gas and head out we will be on our way between 7:30 and 7:45. From there (with allowence for monday morning 8:00 traffic)I would guess on it taking about an hour... so would be about right.

Remember, we're wheeling 3 days without a gas stop. Not great distances, but the trucks will be running a lot of hours.

I will have 5 gallons with me as well, is there a gas station you kow of toward the outskirts of town right off the 60?

Well, looks like it would be me and flip... Flip, if you get this by 6:30 am, (I don't have your number or I would call you) We could meet somewhere by the 101 on the north side so we could go that way for less traffic... Otherwise, we can just fend for ourselves. Either way, is absolutly fine with me .
