Yes, prerunning will start in earnest next month. Look for night one camping to be somewhere off the flat on the road coming off Hwy 79....that way folks can easily shoot out to FJ to the store, and DL could come out with wives, etc if they wanted to. Night 2 will be at the cabins. Night 3 - not sure. Maybe at the east end of Battle axe in that big canyon. Night 4 will be somewhere around Oak Flat campground.....

(I'm just pulling this all out of you know where right now...but this gives you an idea of the easterly direction the run will be taking)

Yes, it's right off Hwy 60 between Superior and Miami. Remember the power line trail and mini lions back from AZ Run II?

That's a good area, lots of wheeling without being to far from town.

I can hardly wait!!

Optional? Two days of trails are 4+!

Look up Upper Woodpecker and Martinez Mine in your old back issues of magazines.

Ajax is apparently pretty fun too.

And Coke Ovens is a fun solid 3 trail. Powerline is 3.5-4.0 as well.

Well...we could, but there's some guys with lesser built trucks that I don't want to exclude. In typical AZ run fashion, we want a little for everyone.

And if you want, H2H can be encompassed, as well as Axle Alley, and all sorts of other hard trails.

Are ex nissan owners who now own a chevy allowed to go? And if so are some the trails almost too narrow for a full size Chevy?

Oh, most definitely.. ANYONE is welcome on the run.. Nissan, Yota, Chevy, Ford, ...whatever your mode of offroad travel is. Smile Nissan4Wheelers hosts the run, but having a Nissan on the run isnt required at all. These yearly runs are more about adventure, comradery, accomplishment, and teamwork than owning a certain brand of truck.

Chug

If I can keep it from overheating, I may have my Ford powered Patrol out there. Smile

As long as its street legal and you can get your supplies and spares in and out with it, you can drive whatever you want on the run..

John, if you don't have the Patrol out there, especially with your dad being here with the PSD, I'm gonna personally kick your ass. You've put WAY too much hard work into that thing to not run it. What all is left? Nothing a Taurus fan and an Aluminum radiator couldn't fix I'm assuming? Smile

Sounds good. I'll check to see if i can get that week off from work and make sure it's ready for something like that by then.

Best thing is i already have the lift and tires. Now i need armor. Thinking about sliders and oil pan skid so far.

The video from az run3 is probably the best offroading video i have seen. Looks like it would be a fun trip.
