Mikey.. I just need to rebuild the cooling system on it. The truck runs way hot. The rad that is in there SHOULD be adequate for the V8.. its a 6 or 7 row radiator. Probably should have it boiled out. It could also use a bigger fan. Could be that the water pump has corroded? I dunno...

Also need to get the electricals sorted again. Need to replace all the battery cables as it seems to have an intermittant starting problem.

Don't think I'll get a cage done in time, as Ive got too much on my plate at the moment, but if its running well, I'll bring it on half the run. If I can get the cooling system sorted, it's gonna go to the coves here in a little bit for some testing.

John, does it have a proper fan shroud?

A shroud wont work on it. The fan on mine is in front of the radiator, as the water pump sits about 1/2" from the radiator core.

Well, I've been working on it every night. Not sure where the alternator is. I'll have to check back with Checker. Might just have to go with Autozone, seeing as they are just down the street, and open 24/7...

Depending on when I get the money for the Honda, I might need your help with shortening the driveshaft. If I get everything done in time though, I might just take it back to Dick's. He's been real good about taking stuff back, and retubing.
