Hmm.. power steering fluid on both ends of one of my hoses... I tightened up the clamps - hopefully that will take care of it.

I noticed last night that my 710 (oil cap) had come OFF and was lodged down next to the exhaust. I wonder how long it was like that.. hope I didn't suck too much dust into the engine crazy

If you still have the stock clamps (if you even want to call them that) on there, they suck, and will not hold the hose... They look like two pieces of wire.

I recommend upgrading the clamps to the "old school" ones... the solid bands that the screw adjusts. I did this to my truck, and lo and behold, no more leaks.

smiley6 Whatever!

If you love something set it free.
If it comes back, it will always be yours.
If it doesn't come back, it was never yours to begin with.

But, if it just sits in your living room, messes up your stuff, eats your food, uses your telephone, takes your money and doesn't appear to realize that you had set it free.....
You either married it or gave birth to it !!

Yeah - they're the stock clamps. If they keep leaking after I tightened them I'll switch 'em out.

I just ordered new exhaust manifolds to replace the broken ones (pre-AZ Nissan defect) and a new Calmini cat-back too Big Grin

Let me know how that catback install goes. Am thinking about that for our X too.
