This run will be special. It's the JW Memorial Run. Jim Wickes campfire stories are encouraged, and I may well have a urn of Jim's ashes to spread on the trip. He would have liked that.

So prerunning in September is in the works.
I'm gone to Moab for Blazer Bash for the first week and a half of September. Hopefully the S-10 is still in one piece for pre-running.
I have some new bushings and bearings to press into my steering components and my driver's side torsion bar needs reindexed; uneven settling. The skid plate overlaps just a hair bit on that side, so the plate has to be removed just to get to that part of the torsion bar. But I'm lazy because I don't want to sear my ass cheeks on the driveway.
yeah, it's fricking hot to be working on stuff....even in the garage.
New house has west facing garage. It was the sacrifice I had to make to have such awesome back yard shade in the afternoon.....gets toasty in there.
